Niverplast

Extraordinary design

The round shape of the building combined with glass and a wooden facade makes for a very special design. The whole building has a diameter of 100 meter. The entrance is accentuated with a upward peak. For the whole facade WaxedWood Siberian larch is used which is mounted on the building by Foreco Houtconstructies. Sustainability was a very important issue for the commissioner Niverplast. The building is build according to the regulations to reach BREEAM level 4. Using timber for the cladding has helped receiving this certificate.

WaxedWood Siberian Larch

Siberian Larch is a durable timber species, that is enhanced with the WaxedWood treatment. The beautiful color transition from greenish to warm brown can be seen as a lively part of the building. Combined with the green roof the building radiates sustainability.
